Mancini to stand down as Inter coach*

Wednesday, March 12, 2008 8:52:57 AM (GMT Standard Time, UTC+00:00)

logointer Just a few days ago I posted about Mourinho and his public notice to return to the game, as the coach of a top Spanish or Italian club.

Well.. after seeing the news tonight that Inter's coach Mancini is stepping down at the end of the season (linked possibly to Inter's "shocking" CL exit at the hands of Liverpool even though he denies it), I think I have a pretty good idea where he [Mourinho] may be heading!

Let's wait and see how it turns out!

I don't think it's that much of a shock to go out to Liverpool in the Champions League. I still think Mourinho is going to Barca. Didn't he say he didn't like italian football?

Why don't you consider it a shock? Because of Inter's past performance in CL or Pool's pass performance?

With respect to Mourinho, the article I read, and quoted in my previous post, said that he's looking for Italy or Spain (I believe the article directly quoted him as well).. From that I have to assume either is "OK" for him.

And now Mancini makes a U-turn!

I thought HE said that his quitting was not because of the Pool defeat?! ..
