Livin' the life...

Another Saturday night has arrived and this time the plan was to catch Departed and The Guardian. Like somethings in life however, that fell through (laziness on my part sad to say). As I sit here now though, watching the trailers of both these movies (Departed trailer, The Guardian trailer), I wonder though, was this a Saturday night lost, or one saved...

Departed, from the trailer, looks looks a bit complicated but with its star studded cast and seemingly interesting plot, may just be a good one. Plus, it has received pretty good reviews to back up that view. The Guardian however just... looks... 'not me' ie it's more of a Adventure/Drama flick as opposed to Action and Suspense (Yes. I AM A MALE ). Also, The Guardian hasn't received that good reviews either.

As a result of this... I'm not 100% sure if it's good I didn't go or what. In retrospect, I think my laziness got it right this time though. After last week, I still have the need for a good comedy. Probably next week something worthwhile will emerge... or, I'll have to go video store and get Madagascar and Over The Hedge!! Now that's some sweettt stuff right there!
