Further to yesterday's post which was somewhat related to World of Warcraf (WoW) I just found this interesting and.. crazy news item on ubergizmo.com. Check the following snippet:

How much money would you spend to pick up a high level character or items in World of Warcraft? Apparently, somebody figured out that saving on all that time levelling up and searching for an elusive weapon is worth $9,500. (Ref)

I did mention that WoW is called the "crystal meth of online gaming" didn't I?

Haha.

Now realise that if we were supposed to play that on our income here in Barbados, that would actually be $19,000!

Absolutely not!

"Blizzard has finally released a new patch for popular MMORPG World Of Warcraft. Patch 2.2 includes a new in-game Voice Chat system, which was only available through programs such as Ventrilo in the past. The upgrade also adds in a function to report players who are AFK in Battle Grounds. Full Patch info after the jump. " (Ref)
