For the first time, the popular download service, which allows viewers to catch up on BBC programmes such as Dr Who and The Apprentice, will be available on TV. The move will be welcomed by the cable network’s 3.5 million customers, who will be able to watch more than 350 hours of TV programmes from the past seven days. The iPlayer, which until now has been available only on computers, has proved immensely popular, attracting 17.2 million visits last month. (Source)
