Disclaimer This Codeyard's purpose is to display largely personal projects I have worked on, and in some cases to provide code for general public (but non-commercial) perusal/use. If you use or run any of the code available, you do so at your own risk. I do not accept liability for anything that may occur subsequent to downloading or running this code.
1. Photos-By-Location Google gadget: Displays random photos depending on location (currently set to Barbados).
This gadget was developed for iGoogle but has been ported to be embedded in web pages.
2. YouTube RSS API for .NET: Enables easy retrieval and programming of YouTube RSS feeds.
This API was developed and tested using Visual Studio 2005. The download contains the DLL and an example.

3. Jiav IRC client: This client is based on the Microsoft .NET platform, and specifically developed using Visual Basic .NET (2005).
I paused working on this project around the beginning of 2007, therefore it is still officially work-in-progress. All the basic IRC features are available, and I've even thrown in a few surprise addons. The download contains the program (.exe) which you simply double click to run the program (i.e. no install necessary), and two reference files (.txt and .xml).
* Because I am not worked on this client for so long, I am considering placing the code here or on codeproject.com, planet-source-code.com, or freevbcode.com, in hope that its development can be continued.

4. Elevator Simulation Applet: Simulates an elevator. Simple. :-)
This is a Java Applet I developed during my M.Sc. at the University of Hull, UK. Use the buttons on the left to call the elevator to a floor, and the ones on the right to send it to another floor.
The elevator can also carry multiple (5) persons at once, so if you're quick, give it a go.
